Mr. Brandon Daniels,

Mr. Daniels began his training in kenpo at the age of 13, back in 1994. He was a regular at the studio, showing up to just about every class we offered. At the age of 13, he impressed many of the adults and his instructor with his constant desire to improve, and his goal of one day donning the red instructor's belt.

Mr. Daniels took some time off in his mid to late teen years, showing up at the studio every few months to check on things and lament about not being able to do kenpo at the time. In 2001, a grown man showed up at the door wanting to start over and continue his training.

It was immediately apparent that Mr. Daniels had retained much of his technical and physical memory of the techniques and basics he had learned, and after about a year, he was awarded the red belt that he had so long desired and began teaching students of his own.

On August 1, 2003, Mr. Daniels was awarded his Shodan, #B-1988-936,from Mr. Hopper.

In September of 2003, Mr. Daniels traveled to Dallas to meet Grandmaster Al Tracy, Kyoshi Roger Greene, and attend a seminar given by Grandmaster Tracy.

In March of 2004, Mr. Daniels was in attendance at Kyoshi Roger Greene's seminar on Dynamic Punching Principles at Tracy's of Shreveport.

One June 4, 2004, Mr. Daniels received his Nidan, #B-2432-339 from Mr. Hopper. At this point, Mr. Daniels took over duties as the senior instructor at the studio and was given authority to run the school in the absence of Mr. Hopper.

In November of 2004, Mr. Daniels and one of his students, Ashley Robinson, competed on a full contact kickboxing card.

Currently, Mr. Daniels is the senior instructor and manager of Tracy's Kenpo Karate of Shreveport, and spends his time training, teaching, attending college, and playing guitar for local bands. He is well known for his remarkable speed and accuracy.

Mr. Daniels received his Sandan, 3rd Degree Black Belt, #B-3305-235, on February 23, 2007. Mr. Daniels also received his Senior Instructor Certification from the Tracy's National Headquarters on this date.

In May of 2007, Mr. Daniels promoted his first Shodan, Mr. Brian Young.

Mr. Daniels married Miss Letha Stahl in a beautiful ceremony March 17, 2007. It has been my privilege and honor to have known Brandon since he was 13 years old and watch him develop into the black belt and instructor and man that he is today.
